Sure sign of the times
As we get ready to say good bye to ' 08 we take a brief look at it to see where we have gotten in the last 360 or so days. We have had natural & man made disasters in the forms of tornados, hurricanes, mudslides, floods, ice & snow storms, & wildfires. We have had a melt down of our economic structure & it has shone that greed knows no bounds & is blind to the reality of the situation. The people have voted on many fronts both with ballots & other action, and have been ignored either by our elected officials or special interest groups that believe they warrant special rights. We have proven that racism is not only thriving & more prevalent than ever before and when coupled with other forms of ignorance it can take weird twist & elect a president.
In retrospect, it really was an eye opening year. To put it bluntly, God has taken His hand from this nation & will now let us eat of the fruit of our works. This country will soon cease to exist as we know it, and quite possibly at all. Many think this is a message of doom and destruction and to those who know not The Saviour, it is. To those of us who do know The Saviour, it is a sign that though we may have to withstand some more heart ache and trials for a short period of time, we won't have to wait much longer for our escape. Now to those in the false religions, well life doesn't look long nor anything but hardship and struggle for you. This includes the religion of humanism, evolution, and other false science based religions. It also includes in the false forms of Christianity. Catholicism, Mormonism, J.W., Protestants, Pentecostals, Word of Faith & other Charismatics. I know there are several people on my e list that subscribe to these beliefs & I love all of you so I warn you, get out from among them, seek the true Christ before it is eternally to late. If you believe in anything for salvation other than repentance & faith in the blood of Christ as complete atonement for sin, you're lost. If you believe you can lose your salvation or that you must be baptized to receive salvation, you're lost. If you believe that you must be baptized into a certain church, you're lost. Time is running out, quickly my friends
